Checking people in at the door

QR-code scan or manual check-in from your phone. Attendance flows to your CRM automatically.

How QR check-in works

Every approved registrant receives a confirmation email with a unique QR code. That QR code encodes a token our check-in view recognizes — no personal data is embedded in the code itself.

When someone arrives at the event, you scan their QR code from their phone or printed confirmation. Their registration is marked Attended, they get a light-touch welcome email, and if a CRM is connected the attendance is recorded there too.

Running check-in

  1. On the day of the event, open your dashboard on your phone (any modern browser).
  2. Go to the event and tap Check-in.
  3. Tap Scan QR. Grant camera permission when prompted. Point your camera at the arriving guest's QR code.
  4. On a successful scan, their name flashes green and their status flips to Attended. Move on to the next guest.

If someone shows up without a QR code

The check-in view has a search field. Type their name or email, find them in the registration list, and tap Check In. Same effect as a scan.

After the event

Attendance status stays on the registration record permanently. You can export the checked-in list, and your connected CRM shows the attendance under each contact (Campaign Member status on Salesforce, marketing event on HubSpot, Appointment on Dynamics 365, Campaign Response on NetSuite).
